The European Commission has nominated AETS to identify and formulate a future project facility to promote the role of employment for development to be funded under the Global Public Goods and Challenges thematic programme. AETS’s team will undertake a needs assessment by looking at previous and ongoing EU initiatives in the field and observing intervention trends among other key development stakeholders operating in the same arena. This will lead to a concrete set of recommendations, options and proposals for a future action to promote employment and decent work in EU development cooperation.
