The European Commission (EC) intends to support the setting up and facilitation of a network in the disaster management training domain. To this end, the EC commissioned AETS to undertake a study with the objective of exploring different options and defining the legal, financial and institutional aspects of a European Disaster Training Management Network. Our team analysed the existing training networks in the field of disaster management and produced a study with three possible options for the establishment of a European Network including a cost-benefit analysis and prepared draft statutes for each network option.
