In 2015, Morocco set up a governance framework of issues related to climate change; This has led to significant progress in the implementation of the Clean Development Mechanism and NAMA, as well as numerous studies and strategies undertaken in relation to the issue of climate change. So, the next step for the Moroccan Government was to define the main lines of its low greenhouse gas emissions development strategies (LEDS). The consortium led by AETS was commissioned to conduct a study that aims to assist Morocco in defining and formulating its development strategy to lower GHG emissions (LEDS).
