In the context of the development co-operation and external relations, the EC co-finances - through grants - a large number of operations in many different fields. Where the proposals received were particularly numerous or highly technical, some external specialised experts are called so that the Evaluation Committees of the EC may conduct deliberations on the basis of their assessments. The global objective of this AETS assignment was to provide technical assistance and expertise for the assessment of project proposals under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights, Country Based Support Scheme (CBSS) 2012 as a support to the EU Office in Kosovo.
