The EU has a long history of bilateral competition policy cooperation with China. DG Competition has built a relationship of relative trust with the Chinese Competition Agencies. DG Competition's priority is to further develop existing dialogues to promote convergence of the Anti-Monopoly Law with generally recognised international standards. The objective of this contract is to contribute to the process of convergence between the EU and China in the area of competition policy. Services : AETS supports the stated objectives through the organization of: -Three EU-China Competition Weeks -Two Competition Summer School programmes for Chinese officials, and -Three Competition Visitors' programmes for Chinese officials in Europe. Specifically and in close coordination with DG Competition and the EU Delegation, AETS is in charge of logistic, administrative and technical arrangements for the organization of the events.
