To be more efficient and take the right decision in disaster situation as hurricane, flooding, fire and earthquake, special tools must be used. The Field Reporting Tool and associated software were being installed in the COUN (Centre Operation d’Urgence Nationale)and AETS team provided technical assistance to JRC (Joint Research Centre) experts. The object of this activity was to supervise the arrival of the material, perform installation, and verify the system performance and to assist Haitian Civil Protection personnel to get proficient with the installed hardware and software. This included assistance to the training activities to be performed.
