France and China established an industrial cooperation with the aim of following up the design and the construction of third generation nuclear power stations. This cooperation was particularly active in the construction of the Nuclear European Pressurised Reactors (EPR) in Flamanville (France) and Tai Shan (China). APAVE was involved as an Agreed Notified Body (ANB) and Third-Party Inspection and Conformity Assessment Body according to the International and EU regulations. AETS also support the copperation with organisation of Study Tours and Training Activities for Chinese Specialists in the Nuclear Sectors.
