The Trade and Domestic Market Enhancement Program (TDMEP) signed in late 2012 supports the srtategic priorities of the Government of Egypt in trade agreements, free movements of goods between Egypt and EU, export promotion, industrial development and quality infrastructure. The purpose of this project is to assist the Ministry of Industry Trade and SMEs, relevant agencies and the private sector in the implementation and execution of key Policy reforms in particular in the field of quality infrastructure and industrial development, in order to sustain economic development and Egypt's further integration into the global and regional economy. In this framework, AETS provides short term assistance in the trade sector.
