The present assignment will contribute to the objectives of the Promove Comércio programme:
- To improve Government coordination and implementation of the EPA and WTO TFA trade facilitation reforms;
- To promote EPA trade opportunities among investors.
The specific objectives are:
- To accompany all stakeholders of the project, and mainly the MIC and Customs, during this kick-off phase of the Promove Comércio project during which long-term technical assistance should be defined and activities for the whole project should be planned;
- To execute the first activities (“bridging TA”) in the areas of components 1 and 3 of the Promove Comércio programme to ensure a smooth transition with the arrival of the long term technical assistance.
