Food Improvement Agents are regulated since 2008 by a legislative pack addressing common rules for the approval and registration of authorised substances, and specific rules for food additives, flavourings and enzymes. Taking into consideration that the programme on Food Improvement Agents has been in place for several years, AETS organises trainings in two courses, course A and course B. Total of 14 four-days training sessions across the EU and a total number of 420 attendees originating from the EU member states, Candidate Countries and selected ENP and potential candidate countries. The course is implemented over six (6) EU Member States: Frankfurt (Germany), Trim (Ireland), Athens (Greece), Warsaw (Poland), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Valencia (Spain). This wide geographical coverage ensures that participants find a convenient training location with a minimal number of flight connections, any time of the year.
