The OCTs are 25 countries and territories, which have special links with Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and which are associated with the Union according to the provisions of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. Within the European Commission and Directorate-General for Development and Cooperation – EuropeAid, the OCT Task Force coordinates all activities in the sphere of EU/OCT relations. The EU provides financial support for each OCT's development strategy. Total EU funding through the European Development Fund (EDF) for all OCTs for the 2014-2020 period amounts to €364.5 million. The OCT Association provides a forum to develop effective working relationships with the EU and support the collective interests of its Members in several areas of cooperation of the EU-OCT Association arrangements including: economic and trade cooperation, trade development, climate change and environmental issues, human and social development, cultural and social and regional cooperation and integration. Increase administrative and technical capacity in the OCTs to manage EU funds; ? Enhance coordination/communication among OCTs to increase information sharing and facilitate cooperation. The results to be achieved are: 1. Increased and enhanced EU-OCT Policy Dialogue 2. OCTs capacities to manage EU (EDF) funds are increased 3.
