The Gender Analysis for Malaysia and Thailand project aims to provide two separate analyses of gender inequalities in Thailand and Malaysia. These analyses will highlight gender disparities in relation to other inequalities such as the enjoyment of men's rights and/or benefits resulting from access to public services and development efforts at the country level (including Covid 19 response packages and the impact of Covid 19 on women issues). In order to support the programming process, expected in late 2020 or early 2021, the current analysis will support at country level the “EU External action Gender Action Plan 2021- 2025” and will inform the programming process in the two countries.” The proposed Gender Analysis of Thailand & Malaysia will therefore provide the basis for action under GAPIII.
