ADB is supporting Geo Dipa Energi (GOE) to expand their geothermal generating capacity in Java, Indonesia. The proposed GPGP intends to add an additional 11O megawatts (MW) of geothermal electricity generating capacity, 55 MW each at the existing plants Patuha in Ciwidey, Bandung West Java and Dieng in Banjarnegara Central Java. will support Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) (GOE) in the expansion of 2 existing geothermal power plants, each in eastern Indonesia, by 55 MWnet each. The expansion at Dieng will require that the new power plant be in a location away from the existing plant and a new 150 kV transmission line to connect this plant to the substation.
