AETS was chosen by the EU delegation to Moldova to assess the first output of the Moldova Energy and Biomass Project (MEBP) which was the establishment or improvement of municipal biomass heating systems and fuel supply markets (130 thermal heating systems built, a total of 40 MW installed, more than 89,000 people supplied). The requested analysis focused on technical, financial and procurement aspects of this output with the aim of comparing this project with EU best practices and benchmarks.
