AETS is assisting the Secretariat for the Pacific Community (SPC) and UNIDO in the establishment of the Pacific Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (PCREEE). The centre will promote sustainable energy development in the Pacific by improving access to modern services, improving energy security and mitigation of energy related negative environmental externalities. This is expected to be achieved by creating an enabling a renewable energy and energy efficiency regional market and by mitigating various barriers for the dissemination of sustainable energy technologies and services.
