The Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) is a programme set up by the EC that aims at providing targeted assistance to countries, which are candidates and potential candidates for membership to the EU. Under the IPA 2011, the EC launched the Call for Proposals “Support to the Local Economic Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The overall objective of the Call was the stimulation of economic growth and employment generation and the purpose was to facilitate the implementation of local economic development measures through local partnerships in BiH. AETS was contracted to provide assistance to the EU Delegation with the implementation of the local economic development-related support to Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was achieved by assessing project proposals to be submitted under the Call for Proposals for local economic development in BiH funded from IPA 2011.
