The Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Program (CAADP) provides the continent-wide policy framework for the African agricultural development for food security and nutrition initiatives. The CAADP DPTT (the "Development Partners Group") is a key governance and coordination supporting body of the CAADP processes and institutions, bringing together international organisations and development agencies. The DPTT aims to ensure a fruitful and structured dialogue between donors and the African Union Commission (AUC) and the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA). The global objective of this AETS assignment is to provide technical and analytical support to the European Commission in its function as Chairman of the DPTT from April 2013 for a 12 month period.
