The EU funded EC Link project promotes the development of adequate solutions for sustainable urban living. The project provided the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development with tools to shape a national ecological and low-carbon framework, and to help Chinese local governments with city feature specific low-carbon development. The project carries out the mid-term evaluation for EC Link project to update the status of the project objectives and track the progress as well lessons learned. These will support a better performance of the Technical Assistance Team, enabling MOHURD, EU and the stakeholders to reap benefits upon embarking on the next implementing phase.
