The importance of cooperation and partnership with private sector have been outlined in ASEAN’s existing policy framework and guidelines. The new Strategic Plan of Action for ASEAN Cooperation on Crops, 2021-2025 is under preparation under a support of The ASEAN-German Cooperation Project, “Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in ASEAN” (ASEAN AgriTrade) implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
AETS was commissioned by the project providing an expert on PPP in agriculture value chain to review and analyze gaps, issues and challenges and recommend potential toolkits, as well as activities to be in the regional work plan to support the promotion and implementation of PPP in agriculture value chain in crop sector of ASEAN in particular in the context of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam.
