The main objective is to provide the necessary support to the various stakeholders in Benin for the effective implementation of minimum energy performance standards and the energy labelling system for lamps, air conditioners and refrigerators. These standards will require certain energy characteristics to appear on these products and equipment in order to comply with defined minimum energy performance thresholds.
